Summer Kicks Off with Events from the Lisle Free Library

Mark your calendars for the Lisle Free Library's Summer Program Kick-Off Party on June 13, from 3:00-5:00 PM. The party will be at Marie Lynch Memorial Park.

This year's theme is Unearth a Story, be ready to dig deeper into history, science, and Dinos!

The event will have crafts & activities, outdoor games, and free swag.

Kids can sign up for the summer reading challenge, and adults can enter the Pie Baking Contest for America's 250th birthday. See the library staff to enter.

The rules for the Pie Baking Contest are as follows:

• One entry per person

• Must be Apple, Cherry, or Blueberry

• Pies must be dropped off at the Park Pavilion between 2:30 and 3:30 on June 13.

• Judging to begin at 4:00

• Free to enter

The Lisle Pool is having a yard sale fundraiser as well.
