Whitney Point Track & Field Wins at IAC Championships

The Varsity Track & Field team competed at the IAC Championships last week and came home with some big wins! Here are the highlights:

Junior Ava Oliver won the Girls' 200m dash with a time of 25.73 seconds. She also won the Girls' 100m Dash with a time of 12.7 seconds.

Senior Dylan Whitney won the Boys' 200m Dash with a time of 22.39 seconds. He was also second in the Boys' 100m Dash with a time of 11.34 seconds.

Junior Payton Martin won the Girls' 400m with a time of 58.86 seconds. She was second in the Girls' 800m Run with a time of 2:26.49.

The Girls 4x100m relay won with a time of 52.11 seconds. The team consisted of Madeline Zehr, Payton Martin, Addison Feathers, and Ava Oliver.

The Girls 4x400m relay won with a time of 4:16.51. Addison Feathers, Ava Oliver, Madeline Zehr, and Payton Martin made up the team.

The Boys 4x400m relay was second with a time of 3:41.60. The team consisted of Kaiden Moisher, Christian Hollerer, Ryan Smith, and Dylan Whitney.

Junior Ryan Smith was third in the Boys 400m with a time of 54.87 seconds.

Junior Mackenzie Price was third in the Girls' High Jump with a height of 4-3.
