WP Boys Lacrosse are Section IV Class D Champions!

Whitney Point Boys Lacrosse headed to Horseheads for the Section IV Class D championship earlier today, May 30, and took home the win!

The Eagles beat Chenango Valley 13-11 to take home the win.

This is the first Sectional title for the team in 22 years. The team was welcomed home in an escort from the Whitney Point, Lisle, and Glen Aubrey fire departments, and a good meal at Aiello's.

The boys will continue to play in the NYSPHSAA Regionals in June.
